Returns and Exchanges

Damaged items

Please contact us immediately regarding damages to your purchase within 7 days. We will need photos of the damaged shipping box/crate, damaged packing materials and damaged products.

If the damaged is clearly caused by the shipper/delivery team then we will open a claim against the shipper/delivery team.

If the damaged product can be repaired we will make arrangements to repair at your home. If the damaged item has to be returned to us then we will provide detailed instructions.

We will always try to repair it at your location first and then if absolutely necessary allow the items to be returned for repair or replacement.

Our products are handmade so there may be imperfections in finishes and details that we view as acceptable – we can’t allow returns for items that we feel have passed our production standards. Feel free to call us prior to purchase to discuss this further.

Items Received Correctly and without Damage

Does not fit, not the correct color, not as expected? If you received your order as purchased and there’s no damaged we will allow a return for exchange only within 7 days of purchase. Items must be returned to us in the same brand new condition in the original crate/box, packaging and include all instructions. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of packaging and shipping the item back to us. The customer will be provided with a credit towards the purchase of another item minus any costs associated with shipping the item back to us.

No returns or exchanges will be allowed after 7 days.

Refunds

NO REFUNDS. Due to these items being handmade their uniqueness and very costly to ship we will not be able to offer refunds. We cannot offer returns and refunds due to damage, production delays, natural or unnatural disasters, death, sickness, material shortages, not able to fit the item in buyers space, buyers remorse, buyer not accepting delivery, or buyer not picking up item. In the event a return is authorized beds by Jacob may charge a 25% restocking fee plus shipping fees back to our facility that will be deducted from the credit.

Product Guarantee / Warranty

Our products are handmade so there may be imperctions in the construction, finish, upholstery matarials, etc that we call characteristics. Please understand these items are not mass produced so each item is individually bench made. We take great pride in our designs and craftsmenship. We inspect each product several times before its finished. Measurements may vary up to 1/2 of an inch which is industry standard for handmade furniture. Everyone utilizes their headboards in different ways so we dont guarantee the performance of our headboards. We do guarantee our products will arrive in new condition unless there is damage during delivery or shipping.

We stand behind our products and every situation is different so if you encounter something loose, broken or disattached please call us to see how we can resolve it. We dont want anyone dissatisfied with our products so we will always try to resolve the issue very fairly.

In-stock Items

In-stock items refer to items that are available for immediate pickup or delivery – if standard or white glove shipping then it usually ships out within 3-7 business days. All in-stock items must be paid in full prior to pickup, delivery or shipout.

Custom / Back-ordered items

All Custom or back-ordered items require a minimum 50% deposit to place the order. This deposit is non-refundable. Once a custom or back-ordered item becomes available we will contact you to schedule pickup, delivery or shipout. The final balance will be collected at this time.

All in-stock, custom, or backordered items must be paid in full prior to scheduling for pickup, delivery or shipout. Once these items are instock they must be released to customer within 14 days or storage fees may apply to hold the items longer.
